Veteran Service Assistant

Assist in the delivery of basic services including shelter, food, and hygiene to veterans at the facility. Maintain a therapeutic community environment by communicating with clinical staff, facilitating daily living activities, and ensuring proper storage of supplies. Prevent or de-escalate verbal and physical altercations by submitting incident reports and addressing client issues timely. Conduct facility inspections, bed checks, and weekly cleaning of client rooms and common areas to ensure a clean, safe, and hazard-free environment. Implement safety and emergency procedures, toxicology testing, and various administrative duties such as documentation of logs and incident reports. Ensure readiness for inspections and adhere to site work order procedures while promoting a sober environment.
