Veteran Clinician

Veteran Clinician provides psychotherapeutic and rehabilitative interventions, including assessments, solution-focused brief counseling, psychosocial evaluation, individual and group counseling, crisis intervention, outreach, training, and case management for veterans, military, reserves, guard, and military families. Responsibilities include coordinating the full range of veteran and family needs, brokerage and advocacy to ensure access to resources, timely documentation for direct client services, field-based services as needed, maintaining confidentiality, participating in program meetings, supporting transitioning service members and families, collaborating with the Lead Veteran Counselor, developing and implementing intervention goals, conducting psycho-educational groups, preparing issues for supervision discussions, and performing other duties as assigned. Qualifications emphasize a Master’s degree in counseling with CA licensure or registration preferred, veteran status (or spouse of a veteran), ability to work flexible hours, and experience with military populations; bilingual and EHR/software skills are preferred.
