Job Summary
Relief veterinarian for Vetco Vaccination Clinics and Vetco Total Care full-service hospitals. Manage appointments in an appointment-based model, perform vaccines and preventive care, blood draws, and diagnostic workups as appropriate for clinic settings; hospitals may include outpatient surgeries and dental procedures. Flexible shifts with no minimum/maximum requirements, choose weekday/weekend hours, set your own rate per shift, and enjoy a 15% Petco product discount. No overnight or emergency on-call shifts; trained staff handle operations so you can focus on patient care.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine state license in good standing
- Appropriate state-specific licensing to perform all shift functions including the ability to perform blood draws & administer vaccines
- DEA in good standing required for full-service Vetco Total Care hospital relief shifts
- Ability to provide Professional Liability Insurance + license defense policy
- Compliance with all local state and federal mandates
- NC Supervising Veterinarian Agreement (we will provide)
