Job Summary
Conduct daily veterinary care in Vetco Vaccination Clinics or Vetco Total Care full-service hospitals, performing basic wellness checks, vaccinations, heartworm testing, microchip placement, diagnostic workups, outpatient surgeries, and dental procedures. Manage patient flow within your assigned appointment-based model while licensed staff handle operations, ensuring you focus on providing the best care possible. Maintain state-specific licensing, DEA registration, and Professional Liability Insurance for all shifts. Schedule flexible weekday or weekend hours with no minimum or maximum shift requirements and set your own compensation rate. No overnight or emergency on-call shifts are required. Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine state license in good standing
- Appropriate state-specific licensing to perform all shift functions including the ability to perform blood draws & administer vaccines
- DEA in good standing required for full-service Vetco Total Care hospital relief shifts
- Ability to provide Professional Liability Insurance + license defense policy
- Compliance with all local state and federal mandates
