Conduct basic wellness checks, vaccinations, heartworm testing, and microchip placements at Vetco Vaccination Clinics or provide full-service care including diagnostic workups, outpatient surgeries, and dental procedures at Vetco Total Care hospitals. Perform blood draws and administer vaccines while ensuring compliance with all local state and federal mandates. Maintain a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine state license in good standing, DEA registration for hospital shifts, and Professional Liability Insurance. Schedule flexible shifts with no agency fees and set your own rate, ranging from $131.00 to $164.00/hr in Illinois.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine state license in good standing
- Appropriate state-specific licensing to perform all shift functions including the ability to perform blood draws & administer vaccines
- DEA in good standing required for full-service Vetco Total Care hospital relief shifts
- Ability to provide Professional Liability Insurance + license defense policy
