Job Summary
Relief Veterinarian position for Vetco Vaccination Clinics and Vetco Total Care Hospitals. Work across two settings with flexible online scheduling, choosing shifts and setting your own rate per shift. Roles include basic wellness care, vaccinations, heartworm testing, and microchip placement at vaccination clinics; in full-service Vetco Total Care hospitals, provide preventive care, diagnostic workups, and outpatient surgeries/dental procedures. No overnight or emergency on-call shifts. Local staff manage operations so you can focus on care. Washington state locations available with varied shift rates around $122–$153/hour depending on location and shift duration.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine state license in good standing
- Appropriate state-specific licensing to perform all shift functions including the ability to perform blood draws & administer vaccines
- DEA in good standing required for full-service Vetco Total Care hospital relief shifts
- Ability to provide Professional Liability Insurance + license defense policy
- Compliance with all local state and federal mandates
