Job Summary
Provide veterinary care in Vetco Vaccination Clinics or Vetco Total Care full-service hospitals, focusing on basic wellness checks, vaccinations, heartworm testing, and microchip placement, or managing complete services including diagnostic workups, outpatient surgeries, and dental procedures. Perform blood draws and administer vaccines while adhering to all local state and federal mandates. Maintain a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine state license in good standing, hold a DEA license for full-service shifts, and provide Professional Liability Insurance with license defense. Schedule shifts flexibly with no agency fees or overnight/emergency on-call requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine state license in good standing
- Appropriate state-specific licensing to perform all shift functions including the ability to perform blood draws & administer vaccines
- DEA in good standing required for full-service Vetco Total Care hospital relief shifts
- Ability to provide Professional Liability Insurance + license defense policy
- Compliance with all local state and federal mandates
