Job Summary
Conduct daily veterinary care in Vetco Vaccination Clinics or Vetco Total Care full-service hospitals, performing basic wellness checks, vaccinations, heartworm testing, microchip placement, diagnostic workups, outpatient surgeries, and dental procedures. Manage patient flow through our appointment-based model while licensed and trained staff handle operations. Maintain state-specific licensing for blood draws and vaccine administration, hold a DEA for Total Care shifts, and provide Professional Liability Insurance. Work flexible online schedules with no agency fees, 15% discount on Petco products, and access to 48 states.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine state license in good standing
- Appropriate state-specific licensing to perform all shift functions including the ability to perform blood draws & administer vaccines
- DEA in good standing required for full-service Vetco Total Care hospital relief shifts
- Ability to provide Professional Liability Insurance + license defense policy
- Compliance with all local state and federal mandates
