Job Summary
Provide relief veterinary care at Vetco Vaccination Clinics or full-service Vetco Total Care hospitals across 48 states. Perform basic wellness checks, vaccinations, heartworm testing, and microchip placement, or deliver comprehensive services including diagnostic workups, outpatient surgeries, and dental procedures. Utilize advanced equipment such as digital dental X-rays and Butterfly IQ+ ultrasound imaging where available. Maintain state licensure, DEA registration, and professional liability insurance while complying with all local mandates. Schedule shifts flexibly with no minimum or maximum requirements, setting your own rate without agency fees. No overnight or emergency on-call shifts are required.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine state license in good standing
- Appropriate state-specific licensing to perform all shift functions including the ability to perform blood draws & administer vaccines
- DEA in good standing required for full-service Vetco Total Care hospital relief shifts
- Ability to provide Professional Liability Insurance + license defense policy
- Compliance with all local state and federal mandates
