Job Summary
Conduct basic wellness checks, vaccinations, heartworm testing, and microchip placement at Vetco Vaccination Clinics, or provide full-service care including outpatient surgeries, dental procedures, and diagnostic workups at Vetco Total Care hospitals. Perform blood draws and administer vaccines while licensed staff manage clinic operations and patient flow. Maintain state and federal compliance, including holding a valid DEA license for full-service shifts and providing professional liability insurance. Schedule shifts flexibly with no minimum or maximum requirements, setting your own rate per shift without agency fees. Enjoy a 15% discount on Petco products and services.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine state license in good standing
- Appropriate state-specific licensing to perform all shift functions including the ability to perform blood draws & administer vaccines
- DEA in good standing required for full-service Vetco Total Care hospital relief shifts
- Ability to provide Professional Liability Insurance + license defense policy
- Compliance with all local state and federal mandates
