Job Summary
Provide veterinary care in Vetco Vaccination Clinics or Vetco Total Care full-service hospitals, focusing on basic wellness checks, vaccinations, heartworm testing, microchip placement, diagnostic workups, outpatient surgeries, and dental procedures. Utilize available digital dental X-rays, Butterfly IQ+ ultrasound imaging, and fully equipped surgery suites to deliver comprehensive treatment. Manage patient flow within an appointment-based model where trained staff handle operations, allowing you to focus on patient care without overnight or emergency on-call shifts. Maintain state licensure, DEA registration, and professional liability insurance while adhering to all local mandates. Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine state license in good standing
- Appropriate state-specific licensing to perform all shift functions including the ability to perform blood draws & administer vaccines
- DEA in good standing required for full-service Vetco Total Care hospital relief shifts
- Ability to provide Professional Liability Insurance + license defense policy
- Compliance with all local state and federal mandates
