Job Summary
Provide relief veterinary care in Vetco Vaccination Clinics or Vetco Total Care full-service hospitals across 48 states, focusing on basic wellness checks, vaccinations, heartworm testing, microchip placement, diagnostic workups, outpatient surgeries, and dental procedures. Perform blood draws and administer vaccines while licensed staff manage clinic operations and patient flow. Maintain state and federal compliance, including DEA registration for full-service shifts, and carry professional liability insurance. Set your own shift rate with flexible online scheduling, no agency fees, and no overnight or emergency on-call requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine state license in good standing
- Appropriate state-specific licensing to perform all shift functions including the ability to perform blood draws & administer vaccines
- DEA in good standing required for full-service Vetco Total Care hospital relief shifts
- Ability to provide Professional Liability Insurance + license defense policy
- Compliance with all local state and federal mandates
