Job Summary
Conduct daily veterinary care at Vetco Vaccination Clinics or Vetco Total Care full-service hospitals, performing basic wellness checks, vaccinations, and outpatient surgeries while licensed staff manage clinic operations. Deliver preventive care, diagnostic workups, and dental procedures in facilities equipped with digital X-rays and ultrasound imaging. Maintain state and federal compliance, including holding a valid DVM license, DEA registration for hospital shifts, and Professional Liability Insurance. Schedule flexible weekday and weekend shifts with no agency fees, earning competitive hourly rates that vary by location and duration.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine state license in good standing
- Appropriate state-specific licensing to perform all shift functions including the ability to perform blood draws & administer vaccines
- DEA in good standing required for full-service Vetco Total Care hospital relief shifts
- Ability to provide Professional Liability Insurance + license defense policy
- Compliance with all local state and federal mandates
