Job Summary
Conduct relief veterinary services at Vetco Vaccination Clinics or Vetco Total Care full-service hospitals, performing basic wellness checks, vaccinations, heartworm testing, microchip placement, diagnostic workups, outpatient surgeries, and dental procedures. Manage patient flow within an appointment-based model while trained staff handle operations, ensuring you focus on providing care and leaving on time. Maintain a state license in good standing, hold appropriate DEA registration for full-service shifts, and provide Professional Liability Insurance and license defense. Schedule shifts flexibly with no minimum or maximum requirements, set your own rate per shift, and avoid agency fees. Enjoy a 15% discount on Petco products and services.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine state license in good standing
- Appropriate state-specific licensing to perform all shift functions including the ability to perform blood draws & administer vaccines
