Job Summary
Conduct preventive care, vaccinations, heartworm testing, and microchip placements at Vetco Vaccination Clinics, or manage outpatient surgeries, dental procedures, and diagnostic workups at Vetco Total Care hospitals. Perform blood draws and administer vaccines while utilizing digital X-rays, ultrasound imaging, and fully equipped surgery suites. Maintain a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine state license in good standing, hold appropriate state-specific licensing, and possess a DEA if working full-service shifts. Provide Professional Liability Insurance and license defense policy while complying with all local state and federal mandates. Select flexible weekday or weekend shifts with no agency fees, and enjoy a 15% discount on Petco products.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine state license in good standing
- Appropriate state-specific licensing to perform all shift functions including the ability to perform blood draws & administer vaccines
- DEA in good standing required for full-service Vetco Total Care hospital relief shifts
- Ability to provide Professional Liability Insurance + license defense policy
