Job Summary
Conduct basic wellness checks, vaccinations, heartworm testing, and microchip placement at Vetco Vaccination Clinics, or provide full-service care including diagnostic workups, outpatient surgeries, and dental procedures at Vetco Total Care hospitals. Perform blood draws and administer vaccines while licensed staff manage clinic operations and patient flow. Maintain state and federal licensing compliance, including DEA registration for full-service shifts, and provide professional liability insurance and license defense coverage. Select flexible weekday or weekend shifts with no minimum or maximum requirements, and set your own compensation rate without agency fees.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine state license in good standing
- Appropriate state-specific licensing to perform all shift functions including the ability to perform blood draws & administer vaccines
- DEA in good standing required for full-service Vetco Total Care hospital relief shifts
- Ability to provide Professional Liability Insurance + license defense policy
- Compliance with all local state and federal mandates
