Relief veterinarian opportunity with Vetco Vaccination Clinics and Vetco Total Care hospitals through Petco, offering flexible scheduling and the ability to set your own rate for shifts. Work is appointment-based with no minimum or maximum shifts and no agency fees, supported by experienced staff to handle operations so you can focus on pet care. Roles include vaccination clinics (basic wellness checks, vaccinations, heartworm testing, microchip placement) and, at Vetco Total Care hospitals, broader services in a full-service setting, with no overnight or emergency on-call shifts. Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine state license in good standing
- Appropriate state-specific licensing to perform all shift functions including the ability to perform blood draws & administer vaccines
- DEA in good standing required for full-service Vetco Total Care hospital relief shifts
- Ability to provide Professional Liability Insurance + license defense policy
- Compliance with all local state and federal mandates
