Job Summary
Conduct preventive care, vaccinations, heartworm testing, and microchip placements at Vetco Vaccination Clinics, or provide full-service veterinary care including outpatient surgeries, dental procedures, and diagnostic workups at Vetco Total Care hospitals. Perform blood draws and administer vaccines while licensed staff manage clinic operations and patient flow. Maintain state and federal compliance, hold a DEA license for full-service shifts, and provide professional liability insurance. Select flexible weekday or weekend shifts with no agency fees to set your own compensation rate.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine state license in good standing
- Appropriate state-specific licensing to perform all shift functions including the ability to perform blood draws & administer vaccines
- DEA in good standing required for full-service Vetco Total Care hospital relief shifts
- Ability to provide Professional Liability Insurance + license defense policy
- Compliance with all local state and federal mandates
