Job Summary
Conduct preventive care, diagnostic workups, outpatient surgeries, and dental procedures at Vetco Total Care hospitals or perform basic wellness checks, vaccinations, heartworm testing, and microchip placement at Vetco Vaccination Clinics. Deliver blood draws and administer vaccines while licensed staff manage clinic operations to ensure timely patient flow. Maintain state and federal compliance, including holding a DEA license for full-service shifts and providing professional liability insurance. Enjoy flexible online scheduling with no minimum or maximum shifts, set your own shift rates, and avoid agency fees. No overnight or emergency on-call shifts required.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine state license in good standing
- Appropriate state-specific licensing to perform all shift functions including the ability to perform blood draws & administer vaccines
- DEA in good standing required for full-service Vetco Total Care hospital relief shifts
- Ability to provide Professional Liability Insurance + license defense policy
- Compliance with all local state and federal mandates
