Job Summary
Conduct relief veterinary services at Vetco Vaccination Clinics or full-service Vetco Total Care hospitals, performing basic wellness checks, vaccinations, heartworm testing, microchip placement, diagnostic workups, outpatient surgeries, and dental procedures. Deliver care in store-based or mobile van units, or utilize facilities equipped with digital dental X-rays, Butterfly IQ+ ultrasound, and fully equipped surgery suites. Maintain state license in good standing, hold appropriate DEA registration for hospital shifts, and provide professional liability insurance. Schedule flexible weekday or weekend shifts with no agency fees, while licensed staff handle operations to ensure timely patient flow.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine state license in good standing
- Appropriate state-specific licensing to perform all shift functions including the ability to perform blood draws & administer vaccines
- DEA in good standing required for full-service Vetco Total Care hospital relief shifts
- Ability to provide Professional Liability Insurance + license defense policy
- Compliance with all local state and federal mandates
