Job Summary
Conduct daily veterinary care at Vetco Vaccination Clinics or Vetco Total Care full-service hospitals, performing basic wellness checks, vaccinations, heartworm testing, microchip placement, diagnostic workups, outpatient surgeries, and dental procedures. Manage patient flow within an appointment-based model while licensed staff handle operations, ensuring you focus on providing the best care possible. Maintain a state license in good standing, hold appropriate DEA registration for full-service shifts, and provide Professional Liability Insurance. No overnight or emergency on-call shifts are required. Enjoy flexible online scheduling with no minimum or maximum shift requirements and the freedom to set your own rate.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine state license in good standing
- Appropriate state-specific licensing to perform all shift functions including the ability to perform blood draws & administer vaccines
- DEA in good standing required for full-service Vetco Total Care hospital relief shifts
- Ability to provide Professional Liability Insurance + license defense policy
- Compliance with all local state and federal mandates
- NC Supervising Veterinarian Agreement
