Job Summary
Conduct basic wellness checks, vaccinations, heartworm testing, and microchip placement at Vetco Vaccination Clinics, or provide full-service care including outpatient surgeries, dental procedures, and diagnostic workups at Vetco Total Care hospitals. Perform blood draws and administer vaccines while utilizing digital dental X-rays, Butterfly IQ+ ultrasound imaging, and fully equipped surgery suites. Maintain a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine state license, DEA registration, and Professional Liability Insurance. Schedule shifts with flexible weekday and weekend hours, setting your own rate with no agency fees. No overnight or emergency on-call shifts required.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine state license in good standing
- Appropriate state-specific licensing to perform all shift functions including the ability to perform blood draws & administer vaccines
- DEA in good standing required for full-service Vetco Total Care hospital relief shifts
- Ability to provide Professional Liability Insurance + license defense policy
- Compliance with all local state and federal mandates
