Job Summary
Provide veterinary care in Vetco Vaccination Clinics or Vetco Total Care full-service hospitals, performing basic wellness checks, vaccinations, heartworm testing, microchip placement, diagnostic workups, outpatient surgeries, and dental procedures. Utilize available digital dental X-rays, Butterfly IQ+ ultrasound imaging, and fully equipped surgery suites to deliver high-quality care while licensed and trained staff manage clinic operations. Maintain state and federal compliance, including holding a valid DEA license for Total Care shifts and providing professional liability insurance. Schedule shifts flexibly with no minimum or maximum requirements and set your own compensation rate without agency fees.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine state license in good standing
- Appropriate state-specific licensing to perform all shift functions including the ability to perform blood draws & administer vaccines
- DEA in good standing required for full-service Vetco Total Care hospital relief shifts
- Ability to provide Professional Liability Insurance + license defense policy
- Compliance with all local state and federal mandates
- NC Supervising Veterinarian Agreement
