Job Summary
Provide veterinary care at Vetco Vaccination Clinics or Vetco Total Care full-service hospitals, performing basic wellness checks, vaccinations, heartworm testing, microchip placement, diagnostic workups, outpatient surgeries, and dental procedures. Manage patient flow within an appointment-based model while licensed staff handle operations. Maintain state and federal compliance, including DEA registration for full-service shifts, and carry Professional Liability Insurance with license defense. Select flexible weekday or weekend shifts online with no minimum or maximum shift requirements and set your own rate per shift. No overnight or emergency on-call duty applies.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine state license in good standing
- Appropriate state-specific licensing to perform all shift functions including the ability to perform blood draws & administer vaccines
- DEA in good standing required for full-service Vetco Total Care hospital relief shifts
- Ability to provide Professional Liability Insurance + license defense policy
- Compliance with all local state and federal mandates
