Job Summary
Conduct relief veterinary services at Vetco Vaccination Clinics or Vetco Total Care full-service hospitals across 48 states, focusing on basic wellness checks, vaccinations, heartworm testing, and microchip placement in clinics, or providing a complete range of services including diagnostic workups, outpatient surgeries, and dental procedures in full-service hospitals. Perform blood draws and administer vaccines while maintaining state-specific licensing and DEA compliance for full-service shifts. Manage patient flow through our appointment-based model to ensure timely departures, with trained staff handling operations and no overnight or emergency on-call shifts. Set your own rate per shift with flexible online scheduling options.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine state license in good standing
- Appropriate state-specific licensing to perform all shift functions including the ability to perform blood draws & administer vaccines
- DEA in good standing required for full-service Vetco Total Care hospital relief shifts
- Ability to provide Professional Liability Insurance + license defense policy
- Compliance with all local state and federal mandates
