Job Summary
Relief Veterinarian position across Vetco Vaccination Clinics and Vetco Total Care full-service hospitals. Flexible online scheduling with no minimum/maximum shifts and the ability to set your own rate per shift. No agency fees and the ability to continue practice outside Petco shifts. Vetco Vaccination Clinics focus on wellness checks, vaccinations, heartworm testing, and microchip placement without surgeries or emergency care; Vetco Total Care offers preventive care through to outpatient surgeries with fully equipped facilities. Must hold Doctor of Veterinary Medicine license and related state licensing; DEA license required for full-service hospital shifts; ability to perform blood draws and administer vaccines; professional liability insurance and license defense policy; compliance with local/state/federal mandates. Locations include Cedar Park, TX.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine state license in good standing
- Appropriate state-specific licensing to perform all shift functions including the ability to perform blood draws & administer vaccines
- DEA in good standing required for full-service Vetco Total Care hospital relief shifts
- Professional Liability Insurance + license defense policy
