Job Summary
Provide veterinary care in Vetco Vaccination Clinics or Vetco Total Care full-service hospitals, performing basic wellness checks, vaccinations, heartworm testing, microchip placement, diagnostic workups, outpatient surgeries, and dental procedures. Manage patient flow within an appointment-based model while trained staff handle operations, ensuring you focus on delivering the best care possible. Maintain a state license in good standing with appropriate DEA registration for full-service shifts and provide Professional Liability Insurance. Schedule flexible weekday and weekend shifts with no minimum or maximum requirements, setting your own rate per shift with no agency fees. Enjoy a 15% discount on Petco products and services.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine state license in good standing
- Appropriate state-specific licensing to perform all shift functions including the ability to perform blood draws & administer vaccines
- DEA in good standing required for full-service Vetco Total Care hospital relief shifts
- Ability to provide Professional Liability Insurance + license defense policy
