Job Summary
Conduct relief veterinary services at Vetco Vaccination Clinics or Vetco Total Care full-service hospitals, ranging from basic wellness checks and vaccinations to outpatient surgeries and dental procedures. Manage patient flow within appointment-based models while licensed staff handle operations, ensuring you focus on providing care. Maintain state and federal compliance, including holding a valid DEA license for hospital shifts and providing professional liability insurance. Select flexible weekday or weekend shifts with no minimum or maximum requirements, and set your own compensation rate without agency fees.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine state license in good standing
- Appropriate state-specific licensing to perform all shift functions including the ability to perform blood draws & administer vaccines
- DEA in good standing required for full-service Vetco Total Care hospital relief shifts
- Ability to provide Professional Liability Insurance + license defense policy
- Compliance with all local state and federal mandates
