Job Summary
Assist veterinarians with routine general practice procedures including exams, diagnostics, anesthesia monitoring, lab work, venipuncture, and catheter placement. Support with patient intake, client communication, and education on treatments while helping manage patient flow and appointment coordination in a fast-paced setting. Assist with routine general practice surgeries such as spay/neuter and mass removals. Collaborate with the GP team to shape workflows, culture, and best practices from the start. Join a newly built and equipped facility offering onsite CBC, chemistries, cytologies, digital radiography, and ultrasound. This full-time role features a flexible 4-day schedule (Monday-Thursday) and offers a sign-on bonus up to $5,000.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed/Credentialed veterinary technician
- Minimum 1 2 years of experience in small animal practice including surgery
- Excellent communication skills with clients and colleagues
- Comfortable using practice management software and diagnostic equipment
- Demonstrates compassion, teamwork, initiative, and respect
- No weekends or major holidays
- Flexible 4-day schedule to start, set schedule of Monday - Thursday (7:30am to 6pm) schedule as of September 2026
- Potential for schedule change or start time change in future, or weekend day with growth
