Job Summary
Conduct small animal veterinary surgery and general consulting across a diverse caseload including dogs, cats, rabbits, and exotic species. Perform emergency surgery and manage in-patient care using full in-house diagnostic facilities such as digital x-ray, ultrasound, and laboratory testing. Operate as sole charge on weekends and split shifts within a supportive team environment. The role offers 16–40 hours per week with no on-call duties, situated in an RCVS Accredited practice in Falkirk with excellent CPD funding and pension benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Veterinary surgeon
- RCVS Accredited
- Small Animal GP
- Minimum of 2 years' experience
- Good general consulting skills
- Surgical skills
- Medical skills
- Experience in emergency surgery
- Confidence working sole charge
