Job Summary
Assist veterinarians and technicians with office visits, interact closely with clients, and help maintain the hospital facility. Duties include administering vaccines, assisting with vaccines, blood tests, fecal and urine collection, restraining pets for veterinarians, taking and reading x-rays, monitoring hospitalized/boarded pets, dispensing medications, documenting in electronic medical records (Idexx CornerStone a plus), communicating with clients about animal care and prescribed products, cleaning and sanitizing areas, and supporting staff as needed in a fast-paced veterinary hospital.
Required Qualifications
- One year of experience as a veterinary assistant or technician preferred.
