Job Summary
Deliver consistent vocational programming with adequate hours and meaningful opportunities for older youth at Camp Florence. Maintain the health and sustainability of Work Crew programs while recruiting volunteers to share work experiences and career pathways. Connect participants with employers to build skills, confidence, and long-term success through hands-on learning. Ensure program outcomes are documented and that curriculum teaching and assessments are administered effectively. Maintain a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record as an essential function of the role.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or Public Administration, Behavioral or Social Sciences, or a degree related to the agency program that demonstrates the capacity for the knowledge and skills
- Any combination of experience or education equivalent to three years technical-level experience that typically supports the knowledge and skill requirements listed for the classification
- Valid driver license
- Acceptable driving record
- Experience teaching career and technical education curriculum and administering assessments
- Knowledge and network of businesses that are willing to offer youth work experience
- Ability to research and navigate the internet
- Ability to motivate youth toward their post secondary education goals
- Ability to work as a mandatory reporter of child abuse
Desired Qualifications
- Experience engaging and supporting vulnerable youth population in correctional, residential, or community-based settings
- Proven experience developing, implementing, and coordinating vocational training programs
- Skill in documenting individual progress, and program outcomes
- Experience in facilitating interactive, hands-on training sessions that promote skill development and participant engagement
