Job Summary
Coordinate Third Party Mission data integration and exploitation within European Earth observation ecosystems, focusing on commercial Very High Resolution sources. Manage the definition and implementation of Copernicus Contributing Mission activities and support the development of ESA's Earthnet programme elements. Lead VHR data procurement strategies, including the operation of the Dynamic Purchasing System, while monitoring evolving user needs across national and institutional stakeholders. Foster collaboration with European institutions, commercial providers, and the wider community to align programme delivery with emerging technological developments and policy objectives.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Earth sciences or economics
- Five years of relevant professional experience
- Earth observation missions and programmes, in particular the Copernicus Space Component Programme (both space and ground segments) and the ESA Earthnet Programme
- Knowledge of EO products, applications and market sectors
- commercial aspects in the context of EO
- NewSpace technologies, methods and market trends
- Knowledge of procurement processes and service-based procurements
- A good knowledge of English or French
- Nationality of one of the listed States (Austria, Belgium, Czechia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, Canada, Cyprus, Latvia, Lithuania, or Slovakia)
