Conduct comprehensive diagnostic imaging and indication setting for substance use disorders, including extensive intake, psychiatric and somatic examinations, and formulation of treatment plans with patients and teams. Manage medication policies by initiating, adjusting, and monitoring treatments such as anti-craving, substitution, and detox medications, while evaluating effects and side effects. Deliver motivational interviewing, psycho-education, and somatic care including physical screenings and management of substance-related physical complaints. Provide crisis intervention by assessing risks of overdose or suicidality, scaling care to clinical admission when necessary, and supporting medication adherence and relapse prevention. Coordinate multidisciplinary meetings with psychologists, nurses, and social workers, and collaborate with general practitioners and other specialists. Perform home visits for patients with severe or complex addiction, evaluate functioning in home settings, and organize discharge planning and follow-up care. Serve as a supervisor for ANIOS/AIOS, providing work guidance and advising colleagues within Arkin and external partners.
