Job Summary
Full-time wine store role in Vernon Hills focusing on customer service and wine knowledge. Required Qualifications
- Must be 21 years of age
- Knowledge of wine varietals, countries and regions
- Ability to taste wines professionally
- Ability to lift 40-50 lbs
- Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, holidays
- Ability to pass alcohol training class and maintain a current certification
- Ability to count cash and make change accurately
- Ability to operate business machines (scanners, computer keyboards)
- Strong customer service
- Previous retail experience, wine/spirits or hospitality experience preferred
- Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods
- Ability to read small type
- Ability to write legibly
- Ability to follow directions and complete assignments
- Ability to work in cold areas
- Consistent and regular attendance
