Job Summary
Shift Supervisor for the Vermont Support Line (2nd shift) oversees 5-7 staff (FT, PT, and Per Diem), provides 1:1 supervision, and develops schedules and training. Role includes recruiting/hiring, supervising, documenting performance, and ensuring 2 staff coverage at all times. Supervisors provide peer support to callers for at least 50% of time, engage in program leadership activities, and participate in agency leadership meetings. Requires CPSP process readiness, lived experience with mental health challenges, and ability to work from home in Vermont. Starting pay is $23/hour, with full-time benefits. Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work in a team, and proficiency with Google Suite are preferred; HS diploma or equivalent required; must live in Vermont and be available for weekend shifts and on-call duties.
Required Qualifications
- High school degree or comparable work experience
- Must live and work in Vermont
- Ability to complete the CPSP process with The Copeland Center
- Willingness to share one’s life experiences with intentionality and thoughtfulness
- Commitment to providing quality peer support and alignment with peer values/ethics
- Advanced computer literacy - experience with Google Suite preferred
- Availability to work occasional holidays
- Ability to work from home independently in a confidential space
