Job Summary
Lead quality, compliance, risk, patient safety, infection prevention, or regulatory programs by monitoring indicators, leading investigations, and developing policies. Support a culture of safety and continuous improvement while managing risk identification and reporting. Educate teams on regulatory expectations and partner with clinical, operational, HR, and executive groups. Prepare reports for leadership and help departments sustain progress on improvement plans. Required Qualifications
- Progressive experience in healthcare quality, compliance, risk, patient safety, infection prevention, or regulatory affairs
- Previous leadership experience as a director, manager, officer, supervisor, or comparable professional
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, quality improvement, and risk-management practices
- Experience with audits, investigations, corrective-action plans, or survey readiness
- Strong analytical, communication, education, and problem-solving skills
- The ability to work collaboratively across clinical and operational departments
- Experience within rural hospitals, Critical Access Hospitals, FQHCs, long-term care organizations, or community healthcare settings
- Relevant education, licensure, or certification based on the position
- A practical, fair, and relationship-focused leadership style
- Some opportunities may require or prefer credentials such as CPHQ, CHC, CHPC, CPPS, CIC, ARM, RN, or another quality, compliance, risk, privacy, safety, or clinical credential
