Job Summary
Lead daily operations across departments as the operational resource to the Hospital Director, ensuring smooth execution of team development, compliance, and client experience goals. Translate strategy into day-to-day actions while managing multi-department workflows, schedules, and operational systems. Serve as the key connector between frontline teams and senior leadership in a fast-paced specialty and emergency veterinary environment. Requires onsite full-time availability including evenings and weekends based on operational needs.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and professional management experience.
- Minimum three years of management experience in a veterinary, human healthcare or high-volume service environment.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multi-department operations and lead cross-functional teams.
- Strong organizational skills with experience managing schedules, workflows and operational systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively across all levels of the organization.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in specialty or emergency veterinary medicine or human hospital operations.
- Prior experience in a PE-backed or multi-site healthcare organization.
- Certified Veterinary Practice Manager (CVPM) or equivalent management credential.
- Familiarity with practice management software such as ezyVet, Impromed or AVImark.
