Job Summary
Verify incoming freight, prepare labels for shipment, and visually confirm merchandise identity and quantity against Bills of Lading, Packing Lists, and company paperwork. Record evidence of tampering, shortages, excesses, damages, or unusual conditions. Safely operate forklifts or other machinery to assist with loading, unloading, and staging while maintaining strict attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. Follow site-specific safety policies and resolve customer issues promptly. Requires 1-2 years of forklift experience and certification, with the ability to track information using warehouse systems. Tuesday through Friday, 5:00am to 3:30pm.
Required Qualifications
- Must be eighteen (18) years of age or older
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1-2 years' forklift experience
- Computer experience
- Forklift certified
- Able to record and track information using systems
- Minimum of 1-2 years' experience in a position that requires analytical (mathematical) thinking
Desired Qualifications
- 1-2 years' clamp experience with ability to operate skillfully and safely in a warehouse environment
- Experience with warehouse systems
