Job Summary
Verifications of insurance benefits for new and returning patients, ensuring accurate policy details to determine patient responsibility and aid in revenue cycle. Documents all insurance information in SalesForce, communicates needed actions to teams regarding insurance or referral issues, identifies relevant policy clauses, educates patients and internal teams on insurance issues, and supports admissions and revenue cycle activities. Requires healthcare administration/insurance/billing experience and the ability to work a hybrid schedule in Nashville, TN. {
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years related work experience in health care administrative, financial, insurance, customer services, claims, billing, call center, or management
- Knowledge of medical billing practices, office policies and procedures
- Knowledge of all confidentially requirements regarding patients and strict maintenance of proper confidentiality on all such information
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Organizational skills
- Ability to maintain a high level of integrity and confidentiality of medical information
- Strict attention to details
- Able to work a hybrid schedule of 4 days per week in our Nashville office and located within 75 minutes' commuting distance of the office
