Job Summary
Venue Technology Supervisor responsible for day-of-event IT/venue technology support and desktop/IT services. Responsibilities include providing event-day setup and support for multiple point-of-sale systems, offering level 1-2 IT support, coordinating with vendors to resolve issues, ensuring all systems are operational during events, performing hardware replacements, diagnosing software/hardware failures, and maintaining security and network configurations. Requires ability to work at Legends Hospitality locations, adapt to fast-paced environments, communicate effectively across management levels, and support events that may extend to late nights and weekends. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience with 1-3+ years in IT/support roles; strong networking (TCP/IP, VLANs), Windows server/Desktop experience, wireless LAN, SQL/Point-of-Sale systems, and familiarity with Quest/Counterpoint are preferred. Must be able to travel to stadium events and lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems or related field (Experience can be substituted for education)
- 1-3+ years of relevant work experience
- Basic PC hardware knowledge
- Good understanding of networking including TCP/IP, VLANs
- Administration experience with Windows operating systems (Windows 2003/2008/2008R2)
- Experience with wireless LAN concepts
- Experience with Windows XP/7 and Microsoft Office
- Experience with virtual environments (servers/desktops)
- Knowledge of LAN cabling (CAT5/6)
- Experience with Quest, Counterpoint or SQL systems
- Flexible scheduling and availability for events
- Ability to travel to events and work late nights/weekends
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills
- Ability to lift 10-50 pounds
