Job Summary
Oversee day-to-day venue operations by supervising hourly staff, ensuring all event setups and facility needs are completed efficiently, and maintaining a clean, safe environment for patrons and employees. Coordinate activities with other supervisors and the Director to plan tasks and setups, while managing the day shift cleanings in front and back of house areas. Train designated shift personnel on surface cleaning, linen management, and equipment use, and promptly report any unsafe conditions or damage. Work 6AM-2PM Wed-Sun, wearing a radio for daily department communication and responding to calls to delegate needs.
Required Qualifications
- 1-2 years of housekeeping experience
- supervisory experience
- Ability to motivate staff to deliver quality work within tight timeframes while managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Effective collaboration with a variety of personalities and successful interaction with all levels of the organization
- Working knowledge of various cleaning methods, supplies, and equipment
- Must be able to work 6AM-2PM Wed-Sun
- Ability to take and provide direction and work independently as needed

Desired Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Certifications in chemical use, equipment operation and repair, or similar skills are preferred
