Job Summary
As Venue Sales Representative, you’ll be the first point of contact for clients looking to book events at one of our three venues. You’ll guide each lead through the sales journey with energy, strategy, and style—conducting initial inquiries, qualifying leads, and scheduling in-person or virtual consultations. You’ll issue contracts, payment schedules, and coordinate with the Event Planning Team to finalize layouts, timelines, vendor communication, and orders. You’ll track lead progress in our CRM, grow the corporate book of business through cold calls and relationship-building, and work toward monthly and annual sales and customer-satisfaction goals. The role involves frequent evenings and weekends, and occasional events where you may supervise 2–8 hourly staff members. You’ll need strong organization, communication, and problem-solving skills, and be comfortable with Microsoft Office and technology to stay efficient. You’ll attend networking events and training sessions as required, and benefit from flextime scheduling and discretionary time off after the first 90 days, plus other company perks.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in event sales, planning, or coordination
- High school diploma or GED
- Proven ability to close deals and manage client relationships
- Be comfortable with evenings/weekends work and travel as needed
- Be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English
- Hold a valid driver's license and reliable vehicle; able to travel between venues (Greenville area)
