Job Summary
On-site event representative for WORLDS shows at Morehead Planetarium in Chapel Hill. Responsibilities include event setup and breakdown, guest check-in and inquiries, merchandise management and inventory tracking, monitoring event flow, resolving on-site issues, and providing timely communication with the Venue Operations team. Must have 2+ years of customer service or event experience, strong communication, be proactive and independent, reliable transportation, and be available for scheduled weekend evening dates. Tech-savvy with comfort using iPhone apps (e.g., WhatsApp). A team player with leadership skills to direct on-site staff as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of customer service or event experience
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to take initiative and work independently
- Reliable transportation to and from the venue
- Consistent availability for scheduled dates (Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays 5:15pm-9:15pm)
