Job Summary
Venue Coordinator responsibilities include supporting day-to-day operations of the event venue, coordinating with clients, vendors, and internal teams to plan, coordinate, and execute events from initial planning through onsite execution; serve as onsite venue lead during events, manage timelines, floor plans, AV setups, catering, load-in/out, and enforce venue policies; maintain client relations, handle vendor management, assist in marketing and promotion, and provide administrative support for bookings, contracts, and payments. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least 2 years in event coordination or venue management, with strong organization, communication, and problem-solving skills; in-office role with availability for after-hours events.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred)
- Minimum 2 years in event coordination, venue management, hospitality, or a similar role
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
- Creative problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Proficiency in event management software and project management tools (i.e. Google Suite, TripleSeat, EventUp, Cvent, etc..) is a plus
