Job Summary
Coordinate and deliver premier UQ Ventures programs and competitions explicitly designed to foster entrepreneurial mindsets in future students. Dynamic workshop facilitation across cohorts through interactive entrepreneurship content, hackathons, and skill-building methodologies. End-to-end program administration including workshop planning, facilitator scheduling, and quality assurance reporting. Marketing, outreach, and stakeholder engagement to promote Ventures programs and expand engagement across metropolitan, regional, and international communities. Must hold an undergraduate degree and be capable of prioritising workloads, working independently, and meeting milestones under pressure; strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage diverse student cohorts and ecosystem partners. Hold and maintain a valid Queensland Government Blue Card; be eligible for right-to-work verification in Australia and criminal history checks as part of pre-employment checks. This role supports hybrid working options and is based at the St Lucia campus in Queensland, Australia.
Required Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree with subsequent business experience (or extensive equivalent training and experience)
- Demonstrated experience in end-to-end design, delivery, and facilitation of interactive entrepreneurship workshops, hackathons, and student-led initiatives
- Direct experience with entrepreneurial skills frameworks and startup mindset development methodologies
- Valid Queensland Government Blue Card
- Unrestricted work rights in Australia for duration of appointment
- Pre-employment checks may include verification of right to work in Australia and criminal history checks
