Job Summary
Vendor Paid Stock colleague is responsible for the flow of new merchandise for a brand-specific vendor and related vendor-specific operational tasks. Responsibilities include general shipment processing, ensuring floor readiness by hanging/folding merchandise, assisting in movement of fixtures and merchandise for new product/season changes/clearance sets, replenishing stock on the sales floor, maintaining stockroom organization, processing damages/transfers/returns to vendor merchandise, maintaining high customer readiness standards, following shortage programs, and adhering to safety policies. The role requires basic math, RF equipment familiarity, strong organizational and communication abilities, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. The position is described as full-time, with schedules that may include day, evening, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- High School degree or equivalent preferred
- Minimum 1 year previous merchandising or retail experience
- Ability to effectively communicate and present information to customers, peers and all levels of management
- Basic math functions such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
- Able to use a calculator
- Self-starter, able to work independently and as part of a team and must have good time management skills
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to follow through on projects in a timely manner
- Must be comfortable with the use of RF equipment
- Flexible with scheduling and available to work retail hours, which may include day, evening, weekends, and/or holidays
