Job Summary
Vendor Project Manager plans and implements projects at various customer work sites in the US and abroad, including coordinating staff and subcontractors; serves as the primary customer contact for project duration; may commission, resolve specification issues, handle correspondence, provide periodic updates, ensure customer satisfaction, and negotiate/coordinate with staff; includes direct people management responsibilities and uses in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline to execute policy/strategy; leverages best practices and cross-functional awareness to address complex manufacturing processes and interdependent production cycles; acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience and may lead small projects with low risks and resource requirements; emphasizes clear communication, problem-solving, and delivery of outcomes to meet quality, volume, timeliness standards.
Required Qualifications
- advanced experience in the Services & Digital Project Management
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma with relevant experience)
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems
- Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs
- Established project management skills
