Job Summary
Vendor Operations Specialist responsible for operational support across inventory on inbound/outbound orders, analyzing reports and vendor data to protect financials and strengthen vendor/customer relationships. Key duties include investigating product held stock for damages, expiry, and licensing, negotiating returns to recoup funds, processing chargeback submissions, examining recalls to ensure funds are recouped and inventory is not released to customers, managing allocations and restrictions of inventory, leading data-driven decisions as fluctuations occur, and coordinating with warehouses, sales, and vendors. Requires attention to detail, ability to analyze multiple platforms for root causes, and strong negotiation and communication skills. Experience with large data sets, Microsoft Excel (including VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, IF statements, SUM, sort/filter) and Microsoft Outlook is expected; exposure to SAP and Zendesk is preferred. The role is positioned within Medline India (Pune) with a history of global operations and leadership in healthcare supply chain solutions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in a related field
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment, analyzing large data sets, and adhering to deadlines without compromising accuracy/quality
- Intermediate skill level in Microsoft Excel (i.e. VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, IF Statements, SUM function and sort/filter)
- Intermediate skill level in Microsoft Outlook (i.e. creating folders, utilizing calendar/reminders, and coordinating meetings)
- Provide customer service to internal and external requestors and manage workloads that necessitate portfolio-specific analytics to occur for departmental success and process improvement(s)
