Job Summary
Vendor Master Data Analyst at Baxter responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of Baxter’s global vendor records within the Procure-to-Pay environment. Lead rollout of the vendor master data strategy, strengthen internal controls and SOX compliance, and collaborate with global Procurement, IT, Finance, and other teams to drive continuous improvement and governance of vendor data and related policies. Skills and requirements include a Bachelor’s degree with at least 3 years in vendor master data or P2P, knowledge of global vendor tax reporting, data governance, change management, strong communication, and analytical abilities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in vendor master data, Procure-to-Pay processes, or related fields.
- Strong understanding of P2P processes, systems, and policies.
- Expertise in master data management best practices, including governance, policies, and technologies.
- Knowledge of global vendor tax reporting requirements.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication skills to engage stakeholders and promote process improvements.
- Experience in change management, with the ability to guide and train internal customers.
- Strong organizational skills to manage priorities and deliver results.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to assess risk, apply quality standards, and provide root-cause analysis.
- Solid knowledge of financial systems and business acumen.
